To Holosync or Not to Holosync, That is the Question

I think I mentioned a few weeks ago that I have become very interested in the effects that meditation has on the brain wave patterns. I am currently on my second read through of "Thresholds of the Mind" by Bill Harris. He is the founder of Centerpointe Research Institute and the creator of the Holosync audio technology. The book is very interesting, I love the science behind it. I believe that I recommended everybody to get the free demo CD that Bill Harris was offering, if I did not, I apologize and I am saying it now; go sign up for your free demo CD, the link is on the upper left side of the blog. It is free so you have nothing to lose. After you get your free demo, you also need to read this book (Thresholds of the Mind). You can go to amazon and get it cheap or go to the library and borrow it for free. Believe it or not, I got my copy for $2 at our local library book sale last month!

If there is anybody reading who has already used the Holosync audio technology, I would love to hear your feedback. It is all new to me. I am about 90% sure that I am going to take the next step and sign up for the program once I finish doing a little more research.

I have tried traditional meditation rituals in the recent past, but with 2 young children it is almost impossible to keep my focus and I usually end up getting frustrated. With the Holosync program you only need 20-30 minutes per day with stereo headphones. The audio tones produce the beta, alpha, theta, and delta brain wave patterns produced in deep meditation. Therefore giving you the positive meditation effects that a lifelong devoted zen monk can produce.

I am very intrigued and would like some feedback, if anybody has some to share.

Tonya,
Did you end up doing Holosync? I am interested in what has happened. I see this post is over two years old now.
thank you,

Hi Doug

My hubby and I decided to purchase the EquiSync instead of the Holosync. At the time Holosync was about triple the price of the EquiSync but has since came down in price. We had been using it every night until last Oct when a series of family emergencies had us 1300 miles from home and most recently spending long evenings after work at the hospital. Just about 10 days ago my husband had mentioned that we need to get back into the routine of using the cd's.

If you want my opinion on whether or not they work. I can say that we both honestly felt more energetic the following day, even though we were getting less sleep. I had many creative ideas flowing and an uncanny sense of calmness.
I did have a patient at my office who is a neurologist and we had talked about doing an experiment on the brain waves once he got his new equipment in his office, but we kind of lost touch. Either way, it's a nominal investment and feel it's definitely worth the money.

Mid last year we bought a similar audio program from James A Ray, whom I personally love but the program just didn't do it for me. I know that Joe Vitale also sells and bineral beats audio program but I have not tried it myself.

I would say if your interested in trying it out I would go with either Holosync or EquiSync. You could also check out your county library online and see if they offer any bineral beat programs or guided meditation cd's with bineral beats.

Hope this helps.
Good luck on your journey!

Tonya,
Thanks for the advice and feedback. I bought Holosync's introductory package about 4 years ago when I started going to James Ray's seminars. It was mandatory that we had to listen to Bill Harris' Holosync programs for some of James higher level retreats.
I got away from using them as I heard James had loaded his own subliminal messages into the programs we bought that supposedly were targeted to us to get us to buy more of James' seminars. My wife is good friends with the woman who was James vice president, and she told her this info so I was soured by the thought of using Bill's material.
Through talking to a friend recently, she told me she has been using Holosync for about 1.5 years now and loves, loves, loves the progress she is making in her life. One thing in particular that intrigued me was that she told me she now thinks of something, focuses on it, and it materializes in her life.
So, I got back on the program about a week ago now.
It takes some doing to carve out an hour a day with 3 small children, but I make it happen.
Best to you and your family and again thanks for the feedback.
Doug
